Olands Brewery recently replaced their old water softeners. We worked with a Labatt project manager to design a high efficiency water softener to feed soft water to the plant's new high efficiency boilers. We also installed an on-ine hardness analyzer from Hach - it constantly monitors the boiler feed water for hardness.

  • Granular-Activated Carbon - While removing chlorine and organic materials from your water, the Cullar® activated carbon in these filters stands up to the abrasion common in this kind of filter.
  • Cullsorb® Iron Removal - Two-layer filtration give these filters optimum efficiency. A top layer of anthracite takes care of oxidized particles, a second bed of manganese greensand removes additional particles and chemicals.

Peace of Mind with Ultraviolet Sterilization

Culligan utilizes the proven disinfection ability of ultraviolet light to provide a safe and effective method to disinfect contaminated water. Ultraviolet light alters the genetic (DNA) material in cells so that bacteria, viruses, molds, algae and other microorganisms can no longer reproduce. The microorganisms are considered dead, and the risk of illness from them is eliminated.
