Culligan utilizes the proven disinfection ability of ultraviolet light to provide a safe and effective method to disinfect contaminated water. Ultraviolet light alters the genetic (DNA) material in cells so that bacteria, viruses, molds, algae and other microorganisms can no longer reproduce.
